ומנא שלמה שבעין אלפין גוברין גברין נטלי טוענא ותמנין אלפין דפסלין בטורא ושליטין ממנן עליהון תלתא אלפין ושית מאה:
mah wshyth alpyn thltha elyhwn mmnn wshlyTyn bTwra dpslyn alpyn wthmnyn Twena nTly gbryn gwbryn alpyn shbeyn shlmh wmna
Now Solomon decided to build a house for Yahweh’s name, and a house for his kingdom.

ושדר שלמה לות חורם מלכא דצור למימר היכמה דעבדתא עם אבא ושדרתא ליה ארזין למבני ליה ביתא למתב ביה:
byh lmthb bytha lyh lmbny arzyn lyh wshdrtha aba em debdtha hykmh lmymr dtswr mlka khwrm lwth shlmh wshdr
Solomon counted out seventy thousand men to bear burdens, eighty thousand men who were stone cutters in the mountains, and three thousand six hundred to oversee them.

הא אנא בני בית מקדשא לשמא דיי אלהי לאתקדשא ליה למהוי אתר מזמן לאסקא קדמוהי קטורת בוסמין וסדורא די לחם תדירא ועלון לצפרא ולרמשא וליומי שבתיא ולירחיא ולזמניא דיי אלהנא לעלמא תפקודתא הדא על ישראל:
yshral el hda thpqwdtha lelma alhna dyy wlzmnya wlyrkhya shbthya wlywmy wlrmsha ltspra welwn thdyra lkhm dy wsdwra bwsmyn qTwrth qdmwhy lasqa mzmn athr lmhwy lyh lathqdsha alhy dyy lshma mqdsha byth bny ana ha
Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, “As you dealt with David my father, and sent him cedars to build him a house in which to dwell, so deal with me.

ובית מקדשא די אנא בני רב ארום רבא אלהנא מכולהון דחליא דעממיא:
demmya dkhlya mkwlhwn alhna rba arwm rb bny ana dy mqdsha wbyth
Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of Yahweh my God, to dedicate it to him, to burn before him incense of sweet spices, for the continual show bread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbaths, on the new moons, and on the set feasts of Yahweh our God. This is an ordinance forever to Israel.

ומן יסובר חילא למבני ליה בית מקדשא ארום שמיא ארעיתא ושמיא מציעיתא ושמיא עלא לית אפשר די יסוברון יתיה מטול דהוא סביל כלא בדרע גבורתיה שמיא כרסי יקריה וארעא כבש קדמוי ותהומין וכל עלמא מסתוברין ברוח מימריה ומן אנא דאבני ליה ביתא אלהן לאסקא בוסמין קדמוהי:
qdmwhy bwsmyn lasqa alhn bytha lyh dabny ana wmn mymryh brwkh msthwbryn elma wkl wthhwmyn qdmwy kbsh warea yqryh krsy shmya gbwrthyh bdre kla sbyl dhwa mTwl ythyh yswbrwn dy apshr lyth ela wshmya mtsyeytha wshmya areytha shmya arwm mqdsha byth lyh lmbny khyla yswbr wmn
“The house which I am building will be great, for our God is greater than all gods.

וכדון שדר לי גבר חכים למעבד עבידתא בדהבא ובכספא ובנחשא ובפרזלא ובארגונא ובזהוריתא ותכלא וידע למגלף כתב מפרש גליפן עם חכימיא דעמי ביהודה ובירושלם דאתקין דוד אבא:
aba dwd dathqyn wbyrwshlm byhwdh demy khkymya em glypn mprsh kthb lmglp wyde wthkla wbzhwrytha wbargwna wbprzla wbnkhsha wbkspa bdhba ebydtha lmebd khkym gbr ly shdr wkdwn
But who is able to build him a house, since heaven and the heaven of heavens can’t contain him? Who am I then, that I should build him a house, except just to burn incense before him?

ושדר לי קיסי ארזין ברתין ואלגומיא מן לבנן ארום קדמי גלי דעבדך ידען למיקץ קיסין מן לבנן והא עבדי עם עבדך:
ebdk em ebdy wha lbnn mn qysyn lmyqts yden debdk gly qdmy arwm lbnn mn walgwmya brthyn arzyn qysy ly wshdr
“Now therefore send me a man skillful to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in iron, and in purple, crimson, and blue, and who knows how to engrave engravings, to be with the skillful men who are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom David my father provided.

ולאתקנא לי קיסין לסוגי ארום ביתא די אנא בני רבא ופרישא:
wprysha rba bny ana dy bytha arwm lswgy qysyn ly wlathqna
“Send me also cedar trees, cypress trees, and algum trees out of Lebanon, for I know that your servants know how to cut timber in Lebanon. Behold, my servants will be with your servants,

והא לקטעיא ולמקטעי קיסין יהבית חטין פרנוס לעבדך כורין עשרין אלפא ושערין כורין עשרין אלפא וחמרא בתין עשרין אלפא:
alpa eshryn bthyn wkhmra alpa eshryn kwryn wsheryn alpa eshryn kwryn lebdk prnws khTyn yhbyth qysyn wlmqTey lqTeya wha
even to prepare me timber in abundance; for the house which I am about to build will be great and wonderful.

ואמר חירם מלכא דצור בכתבא דשדר לשלמה בדרחים יי ית עמיה מניתך עליהון למלכא:
lmlka elyhwn mnythk emyh yth yy bdrkhym lshlmh dshdr bkthba dtswr mlka khyrm wamr
Behold, I will give to your servants, the cutters who cut timber, twenty thousand cors of beaten wheat, twenty thousand baths of barley, twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.”

ואמר חירם בריך יי אלהא דישראל דעבד ית שמיא וית ארעא די יהב לדוד מלכא בר חכים ידע סוכלתנא וביונתא די יבנה בית מקדשא לשמא דיי וביתא למלכותיה:
lmlkwthyh wbytha dyy lshma mqdsha byth ybnh dy wbywntha swklthna yde khkym br mlka ldwd yhb dy area wyth shmya yth debd dyshral alha yy bryk khyrm wamr
Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon, “Because Yahweh loves his people, he has made you king over them.”

וכדון שדרית גבר חכים ידע ביונתא לחירם אבא:
aba lkhyrm bywntha yde khkym gbr shdryth wkdwn
Huram continued, “Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel, who made heaven and earth, who has given to David the king a wise son, endowed with discretion and understanding, who would build a house for Yahweh and a house for his kingdom.

בר אתתא מבנת דן ואבוהא דאתתא משבט נפתלי ואתנסיבת לגבר דמן צור ואבוהי דחירם צוראה ידע למעבד עבידתא בדהבא ובכספא ובנחשא בפרזלא באבנא ובקיסיא בארגונא בתכלא ובבוצא ובזהוריתא ולמגלף כתב מפרש וגליף ולאלפא כל אומנון דיתיהב ליה עם חכימיך ועם חכימי רבוני דוד אבוך:
abwk dwd rbwny khkymy wem khkymyk em lyh dythyhb awmnwn kl wlalpa wglyp mprsh kthb wlmglp wbzhwrytha wbbwtsa bthkla bargwna wbqysya babna bprzla wbnkhsha wbkspa bdhba ebydtha lmebd yde tswrah dkhyrm wabwhy tswr dmn lgbr wathnsybth npthly mshbT daththa wabwha dn mbnth aththa br
Now I have sent a skillful man, endowed with understanding, Huram-abi,

וכדון חטין וסערין ומשחא וחמרא דאמר רבוני ישדר לעבדוהי:
lebdwhy yshdr rbwny damr wkhmra wmshkha wseryn khTyn wkdwn
the son of a woman of the daughters of Dan; and his father was a man of Tyre. He is skillful to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in iron, in stone, in timber, in purple, in blue, in fine linen, and in crimson, also to engrave any kind of engraving and to devise any device, that there may be a place appointed to him with your skillful men, and with the skillful men of my lord David your father.

ואנחנא ניקוץ קיסין מן לבנן הי ככל צרכך וניתנון לך תורגמין לימא דיפו ואנת תסיק יתהון לירושלם:
lyrwshlm ythhwn thsyq wanth dypw lyma thwrgmyn lk wnythnwn tsrkk kkl hy lbnn mn qysyn nyqwts wankhna
“Now therefore, the wheat, the barley, the oil, and the wine which my lord has spoken of, let him send to his servants;

ומני שלמה ית כל תותביא דדירין בארעא דישראל מן בתר מניניא דמנינון דוד אבוהי ואשתכחו מאה וחמשין ושית מאה:
mah wshyth wkhmshyn mah washthkkhw abwhy dwd dmnynwn mnynya bthr mn dyshral barea ddyryn thwthbya kl yth shlmh wmny
and we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as you need. We will bring it to you in rafts by sea to Joppa; then you shall carry it up to Jerusalem.”

ועבד מנהון חבורן שבעין אלפין דמסוברין בכתפא ותמנין אלפין דפסלין בטורא ותלתא אלפין ושית מאה דשליטין מטול לאפלחא ית עמא:
ema yth laplkha mTwl dshlyTyn mah wshyth alpyn wthltha bTwra dpslyn alpyn wthmnyn bkthpa dmswbryn alpyn shbeyn khbwrn mnhwn webd
Solomon counted all the foreigners who were in the land of Israel, after the census with which David his father had counted them; and they found one hundred fifty-three thousand six hundred.
